The current board members share responsibility for the currently vacant board positions. Volunteers may be appointed by the current board to such positions until the next election. Nominations and elections for the next term will occur fall 2013, followed by a 3-month shadow period under this board, to begin November 1, 2013.
Scott Diamond - President
Scott Diamond is a seasoned IT Professional with over 12 years consulting and in-house experience delivering complex technology solutions to organizations of varying sizes, from small to Fortune 500, across several industries, including Health & Auto Insurance, Hospitality & Tourism, Consumer Products and Commercial Real Estate Finance.
In June 2012, Mr. Diamond joined enterprise cloud innovator, Virtustream, as Business Analyst in their Cloud Advisory Services group. Scott is currently engaged at a South Florida based consumer products client, working in a hybrid business analyst & project management role while implementing cutting edge ERP (SAP) solutions, all hosted in the Virtustream xStream Cloud.
Prior to joining Virtustream, Mr. Diamond served as lead business analyst at United Auto Insurance Company (“UAIC”), responsible for analysis, design and implementation of various underwriting and claims management solutions. Scott began his career as a Consultant with Accenture (ACN on NYSE), a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Scott serviced clients in the Health & Life Sciences practice, most notably, Pfizer, United Health Group, and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida.
Mr. Diamond joined the IIBA South Florida Chapter in December 2010 as Director of Sponsorship and has held the role of President since November, 2011.
Scott is a native of New Jersey, resides in East Fort Lauderdale, and holds a bachelors degree in Decision & Information Sciences from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.
Tiffany A. Jurczak - Treasurer
Ms. Jurczak is a young but seasoned Business Intelligence professional. She was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts where she spent her summers interning at her fathers’ widely successful contracting company. Mass Bay Mechanical Co. serves states all over New England and gave Tiffany the head start she needed to manage finances and learn the proper techniques of book keeping.
She went on to graduate from Austin Preparatory School (Reading, MA) where she was awarded the Business Management Metal of Achievement. Tiffany earned her degree in Business Marketing and Fine Arts at Merrimack College (North Andover, MA). She took additional courses in finance and accounting to become proficient in Quickbooks, Excel and now Clarity. After graduation, Tiffany moved to South Florida. She spent time working at FCA, a non-profit organization to help troubled teens by pairing them with law enforcement mentors. During her time at FCA, Tiffany planned multiple fundraisers, kept donation records and helped train new volunteers.
She currently resides in Delray Beach and began working at Citrix at the end of November 2010. She was initially hired as a financial analyst to manage internal project finances but quickly took on roles as a business analyst and a project analyst to help gain her BA certification. She currently is a BA on one of the top priority projects at Citrix and still manages a dozen project financials. She joined IIBA this past spring and is looking forward to meeting new people and continuing to grow her career.
Disha Trivedi – Secretary
Disha Trivedi is a Business Analyst with 7 years of experience in Mortgage Lending, Banking, Healthcare, and Energy industries and is currently working as an independent consultant for a client in the Higher Education industry, who builds application to manage online schools and colleges. Disha began her career as an IT Analyst with a focus on requirements management and application of core BA techniques, to enhance communication between stakeholders and the development teams. Throughout her career, Disha has been a part of the exciting, fast paced environment offered by start up organizations, as well as, a part of the more structured and process oriented environment offered by Fortune 500 companies. Disha has obtained her dual degrees - Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Economics from North Carolina State University.
Since becoming a member of the South Florida IIBA in 2009, Disha has often volunteered for the local chapter. In addition to serving as a Secretary, Disha plans to promote South Florida IIBA chapter by bringing more awareness about the local chapter.
Max Dixon – VP Marketing
Max is a Certified Business Analyst Professional with over 13 years of continuous growth in requirements management, elicitation, requirements analysis and solution design. He is also also a Usability Analyst with a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering/Human Factors from Florida International University. He has published numerous conference proceedings and scientific journals in the fields of Human Factors, Ergonomics and Usability.
Max received his Bachelors of Science in Physics from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX (a part of Texas A&M University). And in 2012, Max received his CBAP designation. Max currently works as a Senior Business Analyst at JMFamily Enterprises in Deerfield Beach, FL. Prior to JMFamily, he was an IT consultant for an international consulting firm based in Miami, FL specializing in Supply Chain Management and Logistics. He is fluent in English and Spanish and likes learning other languages. While not at work, he enjoys playing golf, is an avid cook and spending time with his family.
